The appointee will participate in various research projects related to human motion tracking and analysis. He or she will be responsible for conducting literature review, supporting data collection, programming, data analysis and drafting research reports. He or she is also expected to provide administrative support to the research team. The appointee will have the opportunity to gain experiences and insights in video and image understanding. There will be opportunities for manuscript writing and publications in international journals. The experience will be very useful if the appointee is planning to pursue further studies in computer vision and artificial intelligence. The initial appointment will be for a period of around 7 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should have at least Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects including Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics in HKDSE; or Grade E (Level 2) or above in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent. They should have preliminary experiences in conducting research on image understanding or digital systems; and have good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
