REQUIREMENT
ITIL, MCSA, MCDST, or CompTIA A+ certification At least 5 years’ hands-on support experience in a Windows 7/8/10 desktop administration or support role, preferably from a financial services institution with at least 100 PC’s Proficiency in developing and modifying scripts to automate tasks with PowerShell or VBScript Diverse troubleshooting skills to investigate system issues (event logs, GPResult, perfmon, process dumps) General understanding of Active Directory (GPO, OU, Groups) General network knowledge and troubleshooting (HTTP, DNS, DHCP protocols, TCP/IP stack with known ports and basic commands, SMTP, SNMP) Experience troubleshooting remotely (psexec, WMI, RPC) Excellent interpersonal/ customer service skills Knowledge of desktop PC hardware and components Experience with virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V Background in Enterprise management and experience working with System Center Control Manager (SCCM and/or SMS), Windows enterprise technologies, DFS, IIS, SQL Server, Microsoft Exchange, Skype for Business Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Application Packaging using Windows Installer (.MSI) and SMS Installer Must have strong end user support experience Must have excellent customer focus skills Ability to confidently communicate well at all stakeholder levels (technical contacts, members, traders, executive team etc.) Must be a team player with ability and interest in participating in new projects and helping other departments within the company Motivated self-starter, with a roll-up sleeves attitude who takes ownership of their responsibilities and sees things through to the end Good prioritization and time management Must be flexible in relation to working hours Positive approach Excellent organizational skills
