Yayasan Intan Eduka is an education foundation. We are located in Surabaya, Indonesia. Our school name is : IPH SCHOOLS. IPH SCHOOLS is a Christian School from Playgroup, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, and High School. We are located in 4 different building; there are: Playgroup and Kindergarten (East side) : Nginden Intan Selatan 49 Surabaya. Playgroup and Kindergarten (West Side): Raya Darmo Permai III Blok D - 869A, Ruko Plaza Segi Delapan, Surabaya. Elementary, Middle School and High School (East Side) : Raya Kedung Baruk 114, Surabaya. Elementary, Middle School and High School (West Side) : Raya Darmo permai III no 2, Surabaya. IPH SCHOOLS is an international school standard. One of our curriculum applied from Cambridge. In the teaching methodology we use English as our main language. Our teachers comes from Indonesia and also native competence teacher from outside of Indonesia. History IPH schools arose from a passion that God gave to Ibu Suzanna Prawira for opening a school for God in 1995. She started with a playgroup in a small house in Nginden Intan Timur F1/5, with 20 students and a lot of faith with God, thinking that it will stay as a “play school”. God’s vision however was bigger than what she had ever dreamt before. A year later God enlarge the school by opening the Kindergarten at Nginden Intan Barat C1/39, then the elementary school in 1997. As the school grew the KG has to be relocated to a new building together with the Playgroup in 2000. During those years parents from the west, north and south Surabaya traveled a long way to seek for a character based education. Knowing that need, IPH West was opened in 2001 with PG and KG classes. The demand for space in the East Campus however did not stop there, so with more than 300 preschoolers and almost 200 elementary students, the school had to provide a bigger area for the students. By God’s grace the Kedung Baruk campus was opened in 2002. The middle school later was opened with our batch of 13 students in 2004 and followed by the opening of the high school in 2006. In 2007 after much preparation and prayer IPH school is now not only a national plus school but also internationally recognized as a Cambridge Center. Through out its growth IPH acknowledge God’s loving hands are always involved in all areas of school activities and life. By His grace only IPH schools now is much recognized and welcomed by the community and even the department of education in Surabaya. By his grace only the partnership with parents and other supporting education advisors has became building blocks for making this school, a place where truly God’s plan is in progress.
