Company Overview
DBP Leasing Corporation’s (DBPLC) is a financing company engaged in extending credit to the small and middle business enterprises through finance leases and loans. It is a government financial institution wholly owned by the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
The company originated in 2005 when NDC Maritime Equity Corporation was established for the purpose of renting out RORO vessels. In 2006, the name was changed to NDC Maritime Leasing Corp. (NMLC) after it acquired the authority to operate as a financing company. NMLC was then focused on helping domestic shipping companies acquire vessels through finance leases for the Road RORO Terminal System of the Strong Republic Nautical Highway. DBP acquired NMLC in 2008 and renamed it DBP Maritime Leasing Corp. The present name was adopted in 2010.
Today, DBP Leasing Corporation is one of the fastest growing and profitable financing companies offering expanded financial products to both public and private corporations belonging to different types of industries such as construction, logistics, land and sea cargo and passenger transport, medical equipment and public buses.
