DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Assists in the development of production schedules with the Production Manager / Superintendent so that maximum productivity is achieved, quality standards are met, and customer delivery dates are achieved
Call-off of raw materials in a timely matter to avoid production/shipment delays
Meet delivery time and quality in order to fulfil customer satisfaction
Maintain standards of housekeeping and sanitation which are consistent with corporate standards
Effectively manage the workforce/staff in production-related areas
Develop and implement staff’s training and development plan and performance appraisal
Consistently maintain safety standards in accordance with statutory requirements and participate in the Safety Committee. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Corporate Safety Policy, safety organisation, regulatory and reporting requirements
Responsible for the storage and processing of all raw materials so that yields are achieved in conformance with standards set. Ensure that processing equipment is operated at maximum capability. Maintains a current knowledge of new developments and modifications, which will bring continuous improvement in productivity
Presents accurate and timely production data in a form for Management use
Any other ad-hoc as per assigned
REQUIREMENT
Min. Diploma in Production / Manufacturing Engineering, Food Technology or Industrial Engineering
Minimum 1-year supervisory experience preferably from a food/food ingredients manufacturing environment;
Excellent communication skills
Able to work in a rotating shift (3 shift pattern and 8 hours per shift)
Analytical, self-starter, independent, decisive and able to perform under pressure and a team player; strong leadership qualities, able to take instruction and perform work accordingly, committed and with good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Independent, resourceful and able to take pressure in a fast-paced work environment
Exemplary leadership qualities and ability to make difficult decisions
