DESKRIPSI PEKERJAAN
Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing and production usage.
Performs on going performance tuning of the database instances.
Administers all database objects, include tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
Installation, configuration & upgrade of the database (Microsoft SQL Server and/or MongoDB) and its tools and any other tools that access the databases.
Plan and implements backup and recovery of the production database.
Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle.
Implements and enforces security for all of the databases (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
Enforces and maintains database constraints to ensure integrity of the database.
Monitoring & Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
Maintaining an awareness of trends and development in Database Administration.
Designing databases with both Front-end and Back-end user in mind.
Provide occasional out of hours support.
Provide support to Head Office/Plant.
REQUIREMENT
Must have GOOD organizational and interpersonal skills.
A logical approach to work and problem solving mindset.
Able to work in team environment.
Diploma or Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Maximum 35 years old.
Minimum 3 years experience as Database Administration or Data Analyst.
Have excellent knowledge and experience in managing and monitoring database system Microsoft SQL Server and/or MongoDB (tuning, backup, recovery, scaling, design, troubleshoot, migration, alert system, etc).
Experience in managing Redis database system is preferable.
Having knowledge in Linux/Unix environment.
