1. Garment Pre-Production Pre-production Preparation: create the operator loading based on the operator skill matrix and operation breakdown. Identify sewer training needs to achieve balanced production and communicate to Sewing Manager to arrange for required training. based on the operator loading, develop the machine layout plan to minimize wasted motion. communicate machinery, folders and work aids required for production to in-line Mechanic and / or Facilities Engineers. agree with technical support team (Sewing GT and Mechanic) on potential quality problems and plan for preventing those problems. Machines: monitor Mechanic to ensure machinery, folders and work aids are prepared in good condition before production. Production Targets: assist the Sewing Manager in setting daily / hourly production targets. Communicate daily / hourly production targets set by the Sewing Manager to the sewing line and organize the sewing team to achieve the set targets. 2. Garment Production Sewing Monitoring: monitor real-time production efficiency / output and conduct inspections along the production line to identify the production bottleneck processes and ensure planned target efficiencies can be met. regularly review with the technical support team on the TPI process / Sewing performance and offer suggestions to improve efficiency. 3. Garment Inspection Resource Allocation: allocate QC operators to perform quality inspection inspections based on production plan from CSP. Customer Standards: communicate with the QC team to ensure the Factory / Customer quality requirements are clearly understood within the team. Work Monitoring: monitor QC staff to ensure that they follow the Factory’s QA procedure for inspecting garments. Quality Judgments: inspect and make a judgment on garments on which the QC inspectors are unsure. Seek assistance from QA Senior Manager when necessary.
