Serve as the lead within the plant for Company Quality initiatives
including, the implementation of the Farm Fresh Quality Management
Establish Food Safety Management System (FSMS) based on the
requirement of Halal and HACCP Procedures, ensure the necessary
training of team members, ensure that the FSMS is established,
implemented, maintained, and updated.
Prepare for all Company Quality Audits, HACCP and Halal audits and
respond to issues
Ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks,
testing, sampling and sanitation activities
Track, analyze, and lead initiatives for all quality and customer complaint
issues within the plant
Manage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies
such as filters, chemicals and lab supplies
Monitor the performance and competencies of quality team members
and provide leadership, coaching and development as needed
Lead the execution of cultural changes and activities needed to support
Farm Fresh Continuous Excellence
Develop initiatives to improve plant performance against Farm Fresh
quality measures and ensure plant compliance with company and
Provide day-to- day leadership to quality team member and act as the
primary liaison to Corporate QA, Corporate and outside laboratories,
and to external regulatory agencies.
Candidate must possess at least Master's Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
Preferably Manager specialized in Quality Control/Assurance or equivalent.
Good knowledge of HACCP Halal standard and requirement
Exposure in Quality Control circle and statistical Process Control
Good interpersonal and communication skills, in verbal and written for English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
