Understanding the opportunities for locally controlled business and leads for overseas-controlled business. Deliver results (revenue, volume, GP & DSO / AR where relevant). Ensure successful business development planning and the implementation of local business opportunities, from initial opportunity creation to the establishment of stable operations.
Bachelor's degree in management/Marketing/Logistics Transportation. Have minimum 5 years experiences in Freight Forwarding / Logistic industry as Sales Supervisor. Sufficient business acumen with the ability to analyze abstract, multifaceted problems and influence decisions. Knowledge and understanding of logistics operations across multiple modes, i.e., Airfreight, Ocean freight, Warehousing & Land Transportation. Fluent in written and spoken English (more languages are beneficial). Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools and the ability to learn the Schenker specific software/tools. Ability to work effectively in a customer driven deadline environment and have sufficient analytical & problem-solving, interpersonal & communication skills. Field Sales Supervisor responsible to identify new business potential and customers to defined sales strategy focused on the client’s needs. Acquire new customers and business extension across all transport modes. Focus on locally controlled paid business in Indonesia and searching sales lead to overseas.
