
• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks • Provide helpdesk support or desk side support to employees • Troubleshoot system and network problems to diagnose and solve hardware/software faults • Coordinate with external vendors to replace computer parts as and when required • Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system • Support the roll-out of new applications • Set up new users’ accounts and profiles which include dealing with password issues • Respond within agreed time limits to attend to queries from employees • Work continuously on a task until completion • Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time • Assist in evaluation of notebooks/PCs/tablets/PDAs and etc • Coordinate the layout of network and telephone cables
• Minimum Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent • Minimum 2 years of work experience as IT support • Experience in handling minimum 300 end users with relevant support • Basic programming knowledge is essential • Comfortable to work on weekends
