PT BALMER LAWRIE INDONESIA (PT. BLI) is a joint venture company between PT. Imani Wicaksana, Indonesia and Balmer Lawrie (UK) Ltd, United Kingdom. The Joint Venture Company was formed in 2010 after getting approval from BKPM and MIGAS to construct a Grease & Lubricant Plant at Cikande Modern Industrial Estate, Serang, Banten. PT. Imani Wicaksana is a sister company of PT. Tawang Swasti Rawikara, a holding company established in 1994, which has number of other companies engaged in various other businesses in Indonesia. Balmer Lawrie (UK) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd, India which was established in 1867. Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd is a Miniratna 1 Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Balmer Lawrie is a diversified company with number of businesses in Manufacturing and Services sectors. It also has several joint ventures in India and abroad. Balmer Lawrie is a pioneer and leading manufacturer of Lubricating Greases in India. Balmer Lawrie provides the technical know-how to PT. BLI and has also been the Project Management Consultant for Construction of the Grease & Lubricant Plant in Indonesia. The Plant had been successfully completed and has commenced production. PT. BLI aims at providing superior quality products to the Petroleum and Lubricant companies in Indonesia as well as users of Lubricating Greases, Oil and Specialties.
